Below is a growing compendium of resources the Task Force is using to develop language and imagery guidelines.

This our current working definition:

What is Christian Nationalism?

Christian Nationalism is a cultural framework based on domination of all areas of life including religion, family, education, government, media, arts and entertainment, and commerce. It is expressed in a political movement which seeks special treatment (preferential or punitive) from the state to create a Christian (and often white) nation in violation of the Constitution (1st Amendment and Article VI), and federal and state law. This ideology is founded in a belief that God’s expectation for America is based on a mandate for restructuring society in accordance with a particular view, falsely representing the teachings of Jesus and the Gospels’ call to love and care for all people and all creation.
